Watches NEWS
Hands-On with the Padron Selby
A couple of years ago, we put a piece together about Padron Watch Company, a one-man show out of Minneapolis. Leo Padron, said one-man, welcomed us into his watch making studio, where he designs and assembles his line of affordable and unique watches (yes, he's a watch maker). It's worth a read to learn a bit more about the man and his brand. At the time, he was just finishing up a successful Kickstarter campaign for his Tessera timepieces, one of several such projects. Now, he is currently at the end of yet another successful campaign for an update to the Tessera, named the Selby. What caught my about this watch, all of Padron's watches for that matter, was that it's totally his own vision. His watches are unique and almost bizarre, and while not for everyone, have an undeniable charm. Furthermore, in a sea of watches that seem to be slight variants on an idea or two, his bold designs are a nice change of pace. The Selby was actually the most low key of the bunch, in my eyes. AP ROO bed experience
Hi guys,I am new on this forum and in the same time new fun of Rolex watch. For a long time I was a very big fun of AP ROO but I want to tell my story maybe help new AP ROO funs!! I want to tell only last 2 bed story with AP ROO because is very much to tell....In June I buy from a AD an AP ROO Jarno Trulli. I like very much carbon and cermet combo. The watch are pre-owned so I send the watch to RO&RO Wien who are AP authorized service to make a complete overhaul. After 3 week the watch come back with complete overhaul due. I pay 1460.But I see the watch have+ 20-30 sec/day so I send it back to adjust the watch! After another 3 week they send me back the watch and tell the watch are ok but the watch work same +30 sec/day! And again I send it back to adjust! In the mean time I buy it a new AP ROO 42 mm rose gold in Friday 19.08.2016 from a different AD. I make my self a gift for my birdsday. In 22.08.2016 I go back because the watch work +40 sec/day!!!AD tell me he can change my watch
Audemars Piguet Bumblebee Strap
Hi guys! First of all pardon me for being a noob regarding this thread.I have been looking for a yellow colored rubber strap for my bumblebee, and I have no luck in finding one.Was told by Audemars piguet Singapore service centre that they do not carry yellow rubber straps for offshore.Could anyone advise me on how to lay my hands on an aftermarket one? I would really love to have a small sized yellow rubber strap that fits onto my OEM deployment clasp. Guess it would look awesome with my bumblebee.

Polishing your 18K gold watch...
Sorry, I tried to find a generic forum to post this in, but apparently our general discussion isn't for watch related chat.. So being that I have a new 18K Rolex, and many of you likely also have one, or a TT.. I though maybe I'd get your thoughts on this product that I've used in the past for taking small micro scratches off other gold jewelry, but never a watch (yet).. it's not meant to remove deeper scratches or substitute for a proper refinish.. The yellow is a bit more abrasive but still more or less leaves a mirror finish, and the blue even more so... Anyone have experience with these or recommend something even better to get rid of those OCD induced micro scratches?.sunshinepolishingclothI know, I know.. enjoy the wear and tare and let the watch get an individual identity, etc... but frankly, at least right now, I enjoy the mirror finish too much to watch it slowly turn into a swirly mess... much like when you buy a new car and that paint is swirl free, mirror like etc..PS
