My Take on Ruben Barrichello II Titanium ROO
I had a chance to briefly handle this hunk of a watch, just long enough to inspect it from all angles, snap some pics for sharing, and reach an intense excitement I'm not gonna repeat the introduction of this watch, as much have already been mentioned by most of the esteemed owners and enthusiasts in the online universe. You may have known this watch much better, but I'm sure you don't mind a few more pics here to remind you its beauty Arguably the best designed ROO, some have coined it the King, RB2 is extremely rich in details, all race car inspired, which make this watch highly addictive. The brilliant combo of titanium and ceramic gives this watch a balanced contrast which exudes ultimate sportiness and luxury. The cut-out dial which exposes the movement is a novel design. The choice of the font in the chrono sub-dials as well as the use of rail markers in the sec sub-dial at 12o'clock have given the dial its rightful modern look, while those colorful chrono hands have added a hi

First Panerai: PAM183 or 609, p.5000 calibre
I am looking to buy my first Panerai and have narrowed it down to two options: PAM183 vs PAM609I'm based in HK (anyone got any recommendations for HK dealers AD and grey market?) and the prices of the two are pretty identical - I really like the look of the 183 with the cleaner, sandwich dial (I am not a fan of the 609's sausage dial) but feel like the in-house movement of the 609 makes it much more worth it for the amount of money. The power reserve of 8 days of the in-house P5000 vs the 56 hours in the ETA based Unitas movement is also a HUGE difference. I went into a Panerai boutique here and they quoted 3-5k HKD (approx. 390-645 USD) for servicing the p5000 calibre...and i've also heard of reliability/accuracy issues on this calibre, anyone can confirm? Also, How much does/did it cost to service the Panerai OP XI calibre (based off the ETA6497) and would that presumably cheaper cost justify purchasing the 183 over the 609? Does the 8 day power reserve and in-house movement trump th
It's fun to see hoe we have developed us (Baselworld content)
Our first Basel report from 2003 and the last from 2017 in one post. At 2003 we where heroes when no one else report and our server crash several times a day. Today we are only one in the crowd. But it's interesting to see how it looks then.Click here to find out
Granada, Spain sports models
In Europe and want a sports rolex? An AD in downtown Granada has a true treasure trove of SS and TT models, and some PM. On mobile and can't upload pics but they had almost the entire catalogue in the window save the hulk, batman, ss skyd and daytonac
