Start Your Engines: Racing Inspired Temption Classic Chronograph Watch Available
Perhaps there is not too much classic about it save for the fact that it uses an ETA Valjoux 7750 movement. Temption is a supreme German watch maker, not a marketing agency right? So we can forgive the odd name and focus on the beautiful watch. Here is a PVD black with yellow trim model, one of the rarer versions of an already rare watch (only 200 of these yellow models were ever made). Temption produces no more than about 700 watches a year, and all owners are lucky to have them. Temption watches are classic to the extent their designs seem timeless. Focusing on Bauhaus minimalism, it isn't quite the stark emptiness you get from traditional minimalist design, but rather focuses more on pure functionality taking symmetry and aesthetics into consideration. The Valjoux 7750 movement inside this Temption Classic Chronograph is perhaps the finest function dedicated movement produced. What I mean is that it focuses on being a 12 hour chronograph, and performs that functions almost flawlessly,
I can definately understand..
Cause I sure miss this one! Can't wait to get her back from Clearwater freshly serviced!
Serviced 8 Hour Old Breitling, Rude Customer Service
Hi guys,I'm sure anyone reading this has read my previous post about the Navi 01 dying after 8 hours. Well, I just brought the watch into the Breitling boutique on Madison Ave in NYC about an hour ago, hopefully the watch will be fixed and there will be no problems going forward.I must say, however, that the guy that helped me was one of the rudest people I've ever met in a customer service position. I told him that the chronograph broke after only 8 hours, his response, these things happen, you have a warranty and are protected as the consumer, what more do you want? I was taken back by that. I then asked him how often he sees brand new watches fail, he responded do you think I have the exact statistics? I told himI was only asking him if this was common with the B01 movements. Then he asked me where I bought the watch, which was given to me as a gift. I had the electronic warranty card with me, and he had it in his hand, and he was literally interrogating me about where the wat
SMPC under the sea...cos I'm a poet and didnt even know it...
Dive watches are made for under the sea as far as I'm concerned...All my dive watches have to be able to come with me in the silent world. This graduation gift will see a LOT of bottom time I tell you..in this last 2 years it's performed admirably...Sorry for the murky pictures but visibility was bad .A few photos of my last dive last weekend ...well whats the time...Guess its time to go buddy ;)...Hope you enjoyed the pics ...
New Arrival.
Thanks to many of you and especially Puffy for his awesome pictures of this watch - and then Stevo for having his on when I visited Melbourne last week...That really pushed me over the edgeOf course (as ever) thanks to DSWThe watch is incredible on the wrist - We don't have Patek here in Perth so it took a trip over east to Melbourne for me to realize just how intricate the detail is.There is something very, very special about this piece - Of course, as my first ever Patek it holds a bigger place in my heart already. Simply thrilled - Some quick pics
