Introducing: The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5mm, Omega's First METAS Certified Master Chronograph
The Planet Ocean Collection was first launched in 2005 and has become a mainstay, in the last 10 years, of Omega's sports watch collections. This year Omega has released a brand new Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Chronograph, with a new co-axial chronograph movement (METAS/Master Chronometer certified, a first for Omega chronographs) and in new materials. It's one of three Master Chronometer certified Seamasters in the new-for-2015 Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Collection, along with the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Auto, and the Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT. As you may know, the current Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5 mm features the co-axial caliber 9300 movement in titanium with blue dial and bezel. My speedy is losing accuracy
Hi all, my new speedy has gained +45 sec. so far. What are the +/- parameters? I bought it new, never dropped or banged. Don't know why it's running so fast.
Finally found the PERFECT Speedy Pro strap
I've gone thru maybe a half dozen strap/bracelets and I've found a bunch that are great. Notably, the older style bracelet from Otto frei and a gasgasbones nylon strap, both for that authentic moon/nasa look. That said, I've finally found the killer app for me. It was just an ebay seller that had good reviews and made his own custom straps. The side stitches and ash grey/black leather are perfect. The leather is thick and has that creasy look that gives a weathered look, without actually artificially weathering the leather, if that makes sense. It helps that it happens to fit perfectly.
