Please let me in on the jumbo (40th anniversary model)
I may get some flack for this but why is the jumbo the most coveted royal oak? I know of its horological significance but do people buy this model because of its heritage or because of the way it looks and wears? There may be an impression it may look too plain. For those who currently own this, did its horological value (Genta DNA, etc) outweigh its aesthetics when upon purchasing? Please don't get me wrong. I know this is a FANTASTIC timepiece. Just torn between this or the royal oak chronograph. I fancy the chrono more aesthetically, but I may be missing out on something very important with the 15202.
Well...I went ahead and did it.
Hi everyone, On my previous thread I asked for opinions on a trade (RO for Diver). Clearly opinions were divided across and many provided some sound reasons to stay put. Well I'm sure most of you can relate, once it's 'in your head' it's hard to let it go. I wearing it as I type this and I certainly feel it'll get a lot more wrist time than the RO. It definitely has a lot more presence and the AP rubber strap it's awesome! Thanks,
Speedmaster (reduced) not working.
Opened the watch box this morning to put on my Speedie (reduced) and the old girl wouldnt work.I have not had it on for well over 4 months (doesnt sit on a winder). The crown rotates to wind but nothing happens.Any thoughts????
