Fortis Marinemaster Vintage Limited Edition
This year Fortis marks its 100th anniversary and to celebrate, the brand is issuing a limited re-edition of the Marinemaster. First distributed at the beginning of the 1940s, that model became one of the brand’s most popular watches. Over the years, the look of the watch was updated, and the 100th anniversary re-edition is inspired by the model produced during the 1970s. The Marinemaster Vintage LE is a 40mm automatic chronograph in polished stainless steel on leather strap, available with orange or blue dial highlights. A total of 500 of each version will be produced. The image below may be enlarged with a click.
15300 or 15400 in Montreal anyone ?
Hi Everyone, especially the AP lovers up north.I was wondering if there was anyone around willing for a small GTG so I can try a 15300 ? Reason I am asking is that none are in store at the swiss in Montreal. Before jumping on a nice new one I found I would prefer to try it and see it in the flesh. Either will do to help with the decision.Willing to pay coffee or Dominic

Ferrite, meteor, and other stone type dials
I was in an ad today and they had a ferrite dial day date. I had never seen one before. Needless to say it was beautiful. They didn't have a meteor dial but I am aware of them. (Man I would love to own a meteor dial one day.) I think I saw a tiger eye dial one time and mop dials are fairly common. This got me wondering about the other Rolex dials made of natural substances (other than gold and platinum) like stones and meteors. Does anyone know or have a picture of any other types of stone or natural material dials? Thank you in advance. Love the information on this site.
Milgauss vs Explorer II 16570 vs 114300
Still narrowing down the search for my second Rolex. Looking at a black dial Milgauss a 16570 black dial and a 114300 OP blue dial.I like the watches equally and they're similar price (give or take $800 or so)My current watch is the SD 16600. Id like something quite different to make my collection versatile. I'd also like to put away the SD and get a new daily watch.Opinions are appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
