Full Rose gold Royal oak chrono black vs Rose gold black roc on strap
How many of you guys upgraded to the Rose gold roc on bracelet after owning a rose gold roc on strap? Does it make more sense to purchase a full rose roc on bracelet and then purchase a separate strap if wanting to interchange between bracelet and strap? Heard that buying a rose gold bracelet for a roc can cost around $25k. Is this accurate?Does the full gold roc hold value well?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1456627023.187843.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1456627042.454941.jpgSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
White dial PAM
Love white dials and have been seriously looking at 660 and 1499.Prefer 44mm hence above two models...and NEED a secs...cannot check a pulse without one!!!!Price difference is obvious but I have a 329 and love the case.In house / display caseback etc are all positives for me.But is the 1499 WORTH $3000 + premium.Am able to get tax free as heading overseas in July....Would appreciate any thoughts / advice.
Just me or are 26mm straps hard to find?
Hi all,I'm loving my Panerai 557 and swapping between the leather and rubber straps that it came with, as well as a cheapie two piece NATO in olive drab I bought. Now I'm looking to purchase a camo two piece and in the context of this search I'm realizing that very very folks make anything in 26mm. And moreover, those that do charge ridiculous prices. Are you guys encountering the same? Thoughts?
Tudor Black Bay 36MM vs. Oyster Perpetual 116000 Steel
So I stumbled into a Tudor dealer today and tried on the 36MM BB. After trying it on, I am convinced that my next purchase will be a 36MM piece. It fit my wrist more proportionally than any of my other watches. That being said, I am not within close driving distance to a Rolex AD and cannot try on an OP to compare how it would fit. Does anyone own a steel face 116000 and would you consider it as a good all-rounder? Which watch would you choose? I need something to wear with a suit, shorts, t shirt, etc. Edit: By the way, my current budget is around $4500. My preference this time is to purchase a new watch (as all of my past purchases have been pre-owned). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just one Tudor??
So I've got 5 Rolexes. 2 Subs, a 14060m and an 114060. Two Explorer 16570s ( black face and polar) and finally an Explorer 14270. I've owned and quickly flipped 2 Tudor Black Bays. Firstly an in house Black Bezel on a bracelet and then an eta Blue on the leather strap. With both I quickly went off them after the initial excitement wore off. I'm not completely sure why but I think the thickness of the case sides was a major factor. Now I desperately want to add a 'keeper' Tudor to my small collection. I'm thinking of a BB36 which is a size I like although quite similar to my Exp1. What do people think and in particular what is the overall thickness and the case side thickness like?
