Gucci has teamed up with Scatola del Tempo,?an Italian manufacturer specializing in watch winders and boxes, to produce the Gucci Time Box, a luxuriously appointed watch winder that bears the design influence of Gucci’s renowned creative director, Frida Giannini.Like other models in Scatola del Tempo’s Rotor collection, the Gucci Time Box is made entirely by hand and is designed to isolate the watch in a compartment made of flexible polyurethane resin and covered with silk fabric that is free of oxidizing agents. The compartment is designed to accommodate both round and shaped watches, up to a diameter of 48 mm and thickness of 16 mm. The back of the watch case rests against two padded cushions and the strap fits into a recessed groove between them.The user can select multiple rotation programs, which determine how many hours the watch rotates in each 24-hour period. With the Tonda 1950, the designers at Parmigiani Fleurier capture the brand’s essence with a few brushstrokes. Parmigiani’s newest movement – the twelfth in-house caliber from the manufacture – is the PF 700, an extra-thin automatic that powers the Tonda 1950. The movement is 30mm or 13 ? lignes in diameter and just 2.6 mm thick, with an off-center micro-oscillating weight in platinum 950. AP Dealer Question
I recently obtained and AP RO Safari. I am contemplating a bracelet. I live in Washington State and there are no AP dealers here. The dealers I am loyal to such as Wixon Jewelers in Minneapolis carry pretty much everything but AP. Any input into a dealer I should call to purchase some accessories would be most appreciated.
