What It's Like To Be A Watch Blogger After 2,500 Posts
A few days ago, watches-dealer (formerly aBlogtoRead) hit the 2,500 posts milestone. It was only about a year ago that we celebrated our 2,000 posts milestone - with that really cool graphic I so enjoyed. In the last year a lot has happened over here at watches-dealer - it still feels funny using the new name as it is less than a month old at the time of writing this. During that time I have been interviewed in a lot of places, referenced in some major magazines and publications, and more or less sort of went mainstream. One reason aBlogtoRead as a name was retired was because the site for years now really hasn't been the niche watch lover blog for horologists only, but something a bit larger.Typically, this would be the time when someone in my position would thank everyone involved, say it has been amazing, and promise you all sorts of cool stuff for the future. Christmas present and a question
Here is the Christmas present, Aqua Terra 150m:but browsing the net, I saw what appears to be the same watch on a different strap:on this website which is in German. Google doesn't translate very well. Any ideas where this strap might be available? I'm loving the brown leather strap now, but you never know when you might want to switch things up.L

Nato Disaster!
Hello, this is my first post. Thanks for your help in advance. Im a proud owner of a SubC that my wife kindly bought me for our 10th wedding anniversary. I know I'm very lucky man. I love the watch and I love the way it looks on a NATO strap.Last week the watch fell off the strap completely. luckily I found the watch but not the spring bars. The spring bars where the original ones that came with the watch.I really like how the Nato looks and its very comfortable. It also calms down the bling a bit however Im nervous about wearing it day to day just incase it fails again.I replaced the spring bars again and could replicate the failure by twisting the watch strap which really isn't very good.Please could any one suggest a tougher more permanent spring bar that is harder to remove. I have heard that you can get shoulderless Spring bars that have to be cut with wire cutters in order to remove them.Anyone know where I could get these in the UKMany thanks E
