Watches NEWS
Good news/Bad news
Bad news.. Wife has ruled in favor of selling the Sub LV-C and the IWC ASAP.....Good news, during a weekend trip to NYC this past weekend. My wife did allow window shopping in Cellini at the Waldorf to turn into the purchase of an incredibly beautiful and iconic RO 15400 with the silver dial.As my Birthday approached I was thinking about a rest of my lifetime watch This one checks all the boxes in terms of design, build quality and horological tradition. To say I love it is as understated as the watch itself.I know, you want pictures... Have not had time to attempt to upload them. Soon.....
How easy to change strap on Breitling
I have a friend who has the yellow rehaut Abyss on a SS Bracelet. He also wants the rubber Brei - tling strap. The one that actually says Breitling on it across the strap. It is 22mm tapering down to 20mm, so it should fit the Abyss right? I'm fairly certain of that, but do I need to get separate spring bars for him or do they slide in and out of the rubber straps easy enough.TIA.
Used Omega 3570.50 - where to shop (delivery to UK)
Hi everyone, This is the time I decided to buy my first real watch and I am very nervous about it.After hours of surfing through the internet I decided that my watch of choice will be Omega Speedmaster Professional 3570.50. So the most classic of moonwatches. Due to limited budget, I can only afford a second-hand piece. So this is my question to all of you Omega lovers. The only reliable site I found for second-hand watches is Chrono24. Also there were few on ebay but I am afraid of custom fees when they are shipped to UK from Japan or US. Are there maybe any Omega second-hand stores in London? (I didn't find any particular when searching for them online). My budget is generally around up to 2,200 ($3,250) and I am looking for something younger than 2006 as they are usually in the condition I like. Also I would really like it with the original box and papers/cards. Thank you for your help,Matt
