J serial Diver runs fast on wrist, is it normal?
Hi all,I'm new to AP and just got my 15710 Diver recently. I've tested it for few days and found that if I let it rest on the table with the crown down position, its accuracy is almost spot on; once I put it on my wrist, it ran fast and gained about 1 second every two hours. My question is, is it normal for the calibre 3120? Does it sound like a re-banking issue? Many thanksLi
Is this '65 Seamaster legit?
Hey Guys,Haven't really posted on here often. Was wondering if someone could take a look at this watch: .ebay/itm/1965-OMEGA-S...torefresh=true (Ebay item number: 310722458808) and let me know if it is legit. Something about the lines coming out behind the hour marks scares me a bit. Please let me know if you can tell.Thank you.
Advice on first Speedmaster - Thoughts on 2009 38mm Day-Date & Ors
I'm in the market for a Speedmaster. I like most of them, but as cost is an issue I'm looking at buying the cheapest model I can get. I haven't spoken to an AD yet but was curious what the new price was (rrp) for an 'entry level' speedy.I've also come across a second hand Steel Speedmaster Day-Date 3220.50.00 2009 model at a jeweler that's probably 9 or 9.5 out 10 and they want $2,590 for it. Is this a fair price? or would this be quite close to the new price of a more basic model post haggling?Looking on Chrono24 I seem a bit unsure where prices should sit.I gather this particular day-date is 38mm. I have a 6.75 wrist and get on fine with my 40mm Rolex Sub and 44mm Panerai 112, am I likely to find the day-date unwearably small, my gut says no, but thoughts welcomed. Finally I haven't seen much by way of comments or reviews on the day-date, especially older models - anyone have an opinion I can factor into my thought making process? Thanks in advance.
31mm DJ Everose...Chocolate or MOP Dial?!
Anyway, I thought I was sold on the Chocolate dial but now the MOP is growing on me. Any disadvantages to either? Both choices would have diamond markers and President bracelet. I like the different look of the chocolate dial and it works so well with Everose but I'm wondering if it would be limiting? I do have other watches in yellow, white and stainless. Thoughts? Sorry, I'm too new to post links and cannot downsize my screenshots to post from my iPad.
Questions
I have seen his named mentioned but cant seem to find it. Who is the guy who redoes bracelets? Does he do Rolex accurate polishing? Thanks!
