Watches NEWS
The Hublot Atelier: The Hublot for when your other Hublot is in the Shop.
One of the most traumatic and stressful events the owner of a nice watch can experience is the painful process of sending your precious watch off into the unchartered vagaries and perilous possibilities of a factory service. Hublot's trying to ease the pain a little. The lengthy and costly factory service is one of the joys of owning a mechanical watch, and people deal with it in various ways. Some weep every time they glance at their unadorned wrist, others use it as an opportunity to buy a replacement watch.?Servicing also seems to be the point that most strains the relationship between brand and loyal customer: the consumer's lack of control over the process, and over their own watch can lead to tension, and often angry posts on the internet, very easily.? 2 OF 2 Hublot, who, aside from doing 'fusion' very well, also do a very good job at building and maintaining communities, have recognised this. Is this watch a Breitling Navitimer
I looked up Ebay and google and this picture doesn't look like the ones that i saw on the web. Can someone verify or identify this watch ? If I were to buy one how much should i pay for it ?I did some research and it looks like a Breitling J Class or a Colt Chrono
127 vs 217 vs 508
Considering current market prices which would you get right now? Have we seen the bottom line with the 127 and 217 or will prices continue to fall? Pretty sure the 508 will lose some steam as well but it's always an interesting take with the SE's.
Would you Flip SD4K C for 16610 with Engraved Rehaut or 16600 SD4K?
It's not that I don't like my SD4K, just sometimes it feels a little on the heavy side . Overall quite comfortable but the bracelet could be a little more tapered .Is the bracelet on the SD-43 50Th more tapered than the SD4K C ?The 16610 LN with engraved rehaut last of the mighty 5 didgit Subs is growing on me . Even the Previous SD4K 16600 but did it ever come with engraved rehaut? Just toying around with the idea ... What do you guys think ? The glidelock would definitely be missed ...
Tudor GMT & 58 waitlists
After much deliberation I am considering getting a Tudor GMT or a BB 58. Anyone else planning to get one and have you heard of there being any waitlists. One AD asked me for a 20% if I wanted one... only problem is without seeing them both in the metal I can't decide and don't fancy putting down 2 deposits.Eager to hear your thoughts. Thanks watchfam!
