MeisterSinger Salthora Meta With Green Dial For Harrods
Easily identifiable and differentiable designs are one of the keys to a?model's C or?rather, an entire brand's C success.?If a brand can forge a cast-iron USP (unique selling proposition), it's got a pretty good chance of finding a foothold in the market. For German brand MeisterSinger, their reputation as a "uni-hand" brand has won them many fans. However, with the MeisterSinger Salthora range, we saw an evolution of their design principles, and the latest addition to that?collection is the MeisterSinger Salthora Meta watch. The MeisterSinger Salthora Meta is a bit larger than its parent line, but uses an identical design. Along with the release of four core models, a special edition green dial for Harrods of London has been produced. The green dial variant is available from May 1st, 2015, and features an automatic movement listed on MeisterSinger's official website as an ETA 2824-2/Selita SW 220-1.When it comes to design briefs, MeisterSinger's was always pretty straightforward: one
potential first AP purchase
Hi everyone, I wanted to get your opinions on something.. considering a 15400st grey dial from a local watch store.. they're not an AP AD but they're a rolex, breitling etc AD.. they have a pre owned 15400st for sale for $13k but no box or papers! Is it worth getting without b&p or should i wait and spring for one with.. but that price just seems really good... I havent seen the watch or any 15400's in person yet (was talking to them about steel sky dwellers and they mentioned they had that grey 15400)... but all the pictures i've seen and feedback on the 15400st has made me really like it and want one! it would be my first AP watchOriginally I was considering the 42mm ROO's.. but had a couple opportunities to try them on and it just didnt do anything for me... was also considering the RO chrono panda, love that dial, but is it worth springing more money for? 15400 seems like a classic and in house movement is always a plus so is it worth spending more for a chrono and non AP movem

Let's help Johnbeth a little bit...
Greetings TRF,Here's a little thread to help out a friend of ours. As you all know (or learned, like me), John doesn't really like leather, rubber, NATO or any type of band on a watch. For those who don't believe me, here's a little quote to prove my point! Quote:
Unexpected incoming: White C Daytona
Had a wonderful unexpected opportunity to pick up either the BLNR or ceramic daytona for MSRP. I couldn't really pick but the combination of the overwhelming opinion from this forum and trying both on hand pushed me to purchase the ceramic daytona.I must admit, it wasnt really on my radar and I was never particularly excited over it. Part of this was because i really did not like the 16520s. However, seeing the 16500 white dial in real life really surprised me. The white, black and slight red accent all combined to make something that is very reminiscent of the vintage Newmans, but with a clear modern feel to it. Amazing watch, will likely to be a long term piece as it complements my collection quite nicely. Here it is in all its glory!
