Next year’s SIHH watch fair in Geneva is still nearly two months away, but the watch brands exhibiting there have already begun to offer sneak previews of their new timepieces. The first to do so is Baume & Mercier, which has released info and photos of three new chronographs in its recently introduced Clifton collection. The first chronograph model in the 1950s-inspired Clifton collection (which thus far has included only a three-hand model with small seconds and a “Complete Calendar” model with moon-phase) has a 43-mm case and a self-winding mechanical movement from ETA. The case has polished and satin finishes and has a scratch-resistant anti-glare crystal and an exhibition caseback secured by four screws. It is water-resistant to 50 meters. The dial features a sun satin finish and either blued steel or golden hands. Best leather straps for vintage 806
Hi Breitling fans I recently acquired a vintage 806 Navitimer on a NATO and was looking for a good strap for the watch. Do any of you have any good recommendations? Any pics to show would be appreciated
AP RO first then PP 5617 or PP first or just PP?
Hi,**it's 5167 of course, sorry**I understand that I'm asking this in a PP forum, but try your best to be unbiased! My first inclination was to get a AP RO first for my daily wear to rotate with my Cartier Santos, I alse have a Rolex DateJust which I dont wear very often..and I have just purchased a JLC Reverso for evenings/weekends which i absolutely love. I have yesterday parted ways with my Panerai PAM104 to recoup my credit card balance sheet. I really want to own a piece of AP RO as well because I love iconic watches and there the RO is definitely in this genre. On the other hand, as I see more Aquanauts, I love it more and more and I do not have a rubber bracelets which will come in handy when I travel a lot for work in South East Asia..such as Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia etc.. I also like how versatile it looks and of course I always wanted to own a PP!Advise please thank you!
