Linde Werdelin DLC Hard Black II Limited Edition Watch
Linde Werdelin experimented with DLC coating on the first round of Hard Black watches and these were a great success, all selling out. They are back with the Linde Werdelin Hard Black II that brings an even hardier version of the popular DLC (diamond like carbon) coating that is now ever harder. Like the image below implies DLC coated watches are truly built like a truck. The coating is just that tough (also scratch resistant). The watch is based on the Linde Werdelin "The One" dial and uses the standard Linde Werdelin watch case that will accept the The Rock of The Reef Instruments for land or sea exploration. Inside the watch is the high-grade automatic ETA 2892-2 mechanical movement. The black color of the case and thick alligator leather strap make for an appealing an aggressive look. I had a Pam 005, but I am small and thin wristed, so I felt that it was too big for me. I do miss it. Can anyone recommend a smaller (42?) Panerai at a reasonable cost?
