Watch Winner Review: MTM Silencer
Follow-up review from Guy in Canada, winner of the MTM Silencer watch giveaway on watches-dealer last October.I was very pleased to hear that I had won the MTM Special Ops Silencer from watches-dealer and am grateful for the opportunity to share my impressions of this timepiece. I selected the silver model being a traditionalist and was not disappointed when it arrived by FedEx.I opened the shipping box to find the MTM Special Ops box which contained the Barracuda case (which is waterproof) and which provided an extra layer of protection. The watch was also encased in dense foam. Inside were the watch, warranty card, manual, dog tags, link removal tools, two extra link pins, and induction charger.The first impression, once removed from its confines, was the feel and weight. This is a substantial timepiece, solidly built and definitely not for the weak of wrist. The other noticeable aspect is the girth or thickness of the watch. AP Diver issue
hi watch lover,i need your input with my AP ROO Diver. i have watch for couple months now, but i do have love and hate relationship with the watch. love the design and the look, but it hurt when i wear it. i bought this watch new. do you guys has experience this? has anyone here ever change the rubber to the old version ROO rubber strap with deployant buckle?i am trying so hard to save this watch in my collection. any input would appreciated.thank you in advance.

FYI: if you're ever in geneva, and you consider yourself a watch nut, you owe it to yourself to go to the Patek Philippe museum. its collection of timepieces, which ranges from the 16th century to today, is unmatched anywhere in the world. three floors of pateks, breguets and hundreds upon hundreds of other masterpieces, including early 19th century automatons that will absolutely blow your mind. (the bird gun may be one of the greatest achievements of design and engineering known to man).seriously - if you're even close to switzerland, make a side trip. you'll be glad you did!
