New 2014 Offshore Safari owners please help?
No worries. The watch is awesome.Just thinking if anyone here tried mounting the Safari on anything other than the brown hornback it comes with?Coming from a hot and humid country, I sure wish there's something nice I can change it to.I know many will say that the brown hornback + safari combo is the best. But just wondering what it will look like with other options. Thanks in advance.
Is the new SMP bracelet with screws a step backward?
Do you think the new SMP bracelet with the screws to secure the links a step backwards from the previous pins and collars? The new system uses two tiny screws on each side to secure a pin the middle to hold the links together. To me, the tiny screws are ... tiny! They are easily lost, much worse than the collars in the old system. And I have no problem with the pin and collar system. With the right tool, I can size the bracelet easily with no risk of scratch. Now I have to mess with the tiny polished screws, its much easier to lose the screws, and scratch the screws or links with a slip!I wished Omega kept the old pin and collar system or just go with a single large screw to hold the links together.
Michael Phelps

Even the most entry level Rolex, for example, could be considered showing off for most of the population. We, as watch owners, enthusiasts, and collectors, are fortunate. I will never discount the hard work that goes into one's success (yes, there are those who are given or bequeathed large sums, but good for them, no judgement), but I always will be grateful for the opportunities I was given. I have tried, and continue to do so, to take advantage of these opportunities with utmost integrity and concern for others, and to provide for my family and for others in need and charities. However, the TRF Pa
