Dievas Timeattack Chronograph Watch
When I first saw this watch I was trying to determine what it reminded me of. Then I realized the colors on the dial of white, yellow, and orangey red struck me as very Speed Racer. That seemed to make sense for a racing themed watch called the Timeattack Chronograph by Dievas. Made in Germany now with their tougher steel and PVD processes, Dievas makes an assortment of rather handsome, rather price effective timepieces.Much of the watch says "diver." The case is water resistant to 300 meters and even has screw down pushers and a crown. It has a 5mm thick sapphire crystal and also comes with a water-proof "NyTech" textile strap. Deivas also throws in a NATO strap. So basically it is a modern retro racer diver with all the boldness of a neon diner signage. The Timeattack is placed in a 43mm wide steel case. It looks like many of the Dievas Vortex watch cases and fits well within the brand. You might say that the case looks almost too much like the Vortex case actually. The rotating bezel
Veraet Watch Cleaning & Care + Special Deals
When you collect watches, or even have just one "beloved" watch that you own, there are a few key things you need to know about. These include where to get your watch serviced, where to buy new bracelet/straps, and how to clean your watch. Watch brands make it really easy for you to know about new watches to buy, but leave out information about these other things, and most watch retailers aren't much help to be honest. So today I am gonna discuss cleaning your watches. Specifically, with items from a newer company called Veraet. Perhaps watch tidiness is not as important as a watch that is working - but nevertheless you'll want to know about products that help you keep your timepieces clean. While there is nothing magical or ultra-unique about Veraet products, they do a good job of taking the worry out of cleaning watches, and presenting products specifically made for the purpose in nice easy to get kits. For example, their watch cleaning solution spray and brush are specially formulate

Agonizing Wait for SD43 Ended Today.
I couldn't have handled the stress much longer - thankfully the wait is over.I visited AD Springer's Jewelers in Portsmouth, NH on 2/27. I've no purchase history at all with these folks. I was wearing my 5512. Every two - three months, their Rolex Rep visits. He was there on 2/27.They had one SD43, but it'd been ordered by another customer. The sales person said she'd order one for me, with a probable six to eight week delivery time. Then the Rep entered the discussion - very interested in my 5512 and obviously impressed I'd owned it fifty-two years. He said he'd get me an SD43, soon.I paid a 50% deposit, stopped at the drug store for a case of Tums, and went home to worry and read more TRF threads about unpleasant AD experiences and wait lists.Early this afternoon, 3/14 my sales person emailed four words, : Your watch is here. I was astounded. As it turned out, so were they. Les, the Rolex Rep kept his word. The SD43's not at Springer's now, because it's here at home, on my wrist. I'm
