In this roundup, Ariel explains the ramifications of the recently signed Switzerland-China free trade agreement, while we find out what was Jean-Claude Biver's first Grail Watch . Harry Winston's Opus 3 is finally ready for delivery (after nearly a decade), and we learn about the differences between precision and accuracy. 1. Switzerland C China Free-Trade Agreement Will Greatly Disrupt Swiss Watch Sales GloballySwitzerland and China recently signed a bilateral free-trade agreement. It goes without saying that this move was partly motivated by the interests of the Swiss watch industry. Swiss watches make up roughly 32% of the total $26 billion trade value between Switzerland and China. While such a move is seen as potentially beneficial to Switzerland, our Editor-in-Chief Ariel believes that it will also have disruptive effects on global Swiss watch sales. Find out what he thinks in the link below.Source: watches-dealer2. My First Grail Watch: Jean-Claude BiverIt is a fair assumptio
Buying preowned AP warranty
I'm looking at buying a 2012 pre owned royal oak. Please could someone confirm if the AP warranty stays with the watch or is it only valid for the original purchaser? Also, I've heard about making sure you get your 'sticker' or 'stamp' from AP for a third year of warranty(?) could someone enlighten me on what this means and how this works. I'm in the UK of that makes a difference.Hoping to be able to post up an INCOMING thread soon. Thanks
Any followers of the Seamaster 300M Quartz?
Hi Guys,Never owned an Omega myself, but I'm thinking of buying one for my Father for his birthday. I much prefer the idea of getting hold of a pre-owned quartz model simply because Omega don't produce these anymore. Reason behind getting quartz is, my father has a couple other watches that he likes to swap between so having a quartz he could just put on and not have to worry about setting the time, unlike the automatic which I think has around 48hr power reserve. I personally would like the auto, but I'm just thinking he's not the kind of guy that can be bothered with setting the time and it'd probably end up sitting in the watch box unworn. He's of old age now, so the least amount of hassle for him the better. I want it to be his favourite watch, as his others aren't very fancy etc.Question is how do you guys rate the 300M Quartz, I tried on the current auto model yesterday and got to say it was absolutely lovely....so how does the quartz compare? I'm trying to find one privately and

I caved....
Was trying to hold out for my AD but David had this one available and couldn't contain myself. Had to go to Fedex myself as we have some snow here today and there was a delivery exception, trucks were delayed and I was having none of that.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
