Which is you pick? I am falling towards the grey side but the dark side the award winner Since the grey side is originally from a white ceramic, does that mean it is tougher than the black ceramic ala AP? Thinking about a new acquisition, 5227r vs 5170r
I'm thinking about adding a dress watch to the collection. My current favorites are the 5170r (silvery dial) and the 5227r. I know they are different and at different price points, but they seem comparable. Minimal stitch straps
What is everyone's thoughts on the minimal stitch watch straps? The ones with just one stitch on either side of the strap at the lug? I don't see a lot of them on the what Panerai are you wearing today thread. Obviously the strap choice is very personal. I like these but they seem to be out of favor and wanted to hear the forums thoughts on the style. Here is an example of the type of strap.

I bought it Grey market AS I could NOT get an answer from local of he Woyld sell to me if he recieved one though i am on the waiting list.I little concern - no name on the warranty card.
