Hublot has long been known for its bold use of non-conventional materials and combinations of materials in its watch cases; several years ago, the brand even created its own scratch-resistant “Magic Gold” alloy that it has since used in several watch models. Paul Picot C-Type Yachtman 3 Watches
Paul Picot offers these new C-Type Yachtman watches for 2011. The naming schemas confuse me. The C-Type I know, but I am not sure whether these are C-Type and Yachtman watches, or C-Type Yachtman watches!? Screw it, I'm just going to use the Yachtman name for now. Yachtman 3 to be exact - which sounds like an awful movie name. The watches are still cool looking, though, and this year they make equal jabs at Rolex and IWC wanting to be something like a Submariner or Aquatimer.Regardless of what the Yachtman watches are trying to be, they can stand on their own. As you can see, there are two versions of the new Yachtmaster 3. The "Classic" three-hand automatic and the "Chronograph." Like the Aquatimer watches, Paul Picot says the bezel inserts are sapphire but that there will also be all steel bezel options.Size wise, the Yachtman 3 watches are decent at 43mm wide and the cases are steel. 16710 Pepsi Date After Service
An issue I wanted to run by the TRF community, hopefully you guys can provide some guidance! I bought a 16710 off the forum about 4 years ago. Had always been one of my grail watches. Earlier this year I noticed it stopped keeping time well and late this summer it fully stopped. I sent it to the RSC for a service, they looked at it and said it'd just be a typical service, nothing extra or out of the ordinary was wrong.Got it back about 6 weeks ago and notice now that the date window changes like an ETA movement...at about 10PM it starts moving and finally clicks over at about 11:30PM.Have any of you experienced this before? It's obviously under warranty so I assume there's no charge to fix this right? And anyone who's experienced, is this an easy/short fix? I'd like to have the watch for the holidays.Thanks!

I have seen some Rolex dd2s with beautiful blue wave dials.I also have seen regular Rolex DD36 platinum with the same beautiful wave dial in ice blue.Did Rolex ever produce a platinum DD2 with ice blue wave dial?
