Porsche Design Rattrapante Chronograph P��6920
Porsche Design presents the limited edition 45mm P��6920 Rattrapante Chronograph with a design reminiscent of their P’6920 Indicator. The Rattrapante is available in 2 versions: PVD-coated titanium (200 pieces, priced at $27,550), and PVD-coated titanium with a rose gold bezel (50 pieces, priced at $35,730). The P��6920 Rattrapante can measure intermediate times using its split-second mechanism. When the chronograph is started with the right-hand push-piece (at the 2 o'clock position), the two superimposed central seconds hands begin to move. The bottom seconds hand is stopped by the third push-piece on the left and indicates the first intermediate time. When the left hand push-piece is actuated again, the upper hand catches up with the second one and moves on in synchrony. The seconds hands feature red and green tips to make them readily distinguishable. Greetings TRF,Here we have a beautiful 1976 (or thereabout) Omega Seamaster with the reference number ST 366.0848, something that was passed down to me by one of my mentors in Gotham. This thread is dedicated to him. If you flip this watch, you will find its bracelet and clasp......As well as its caseback with the classic Seamaster logo.Now once you pop it......Well...let's not even try to describe it. Rather, allow me to show it to you...Omega's caliber 1020, an automatic movement with day and date indicators! The hairspring...I always need to take a picture of it. Boy am I glad this one's shock protection device has an incabloc spring, it's much easier to work on those...It's more difficult to take pictures of an automatic watch's movement because of the rotor but I still managed to find a few good things to shoot.The logo on the rotor is very subtle, just a very fine little detail that makes it look nice! ...And some other pictures! my final incoming..... initial impressions:i love the slate gray dial. it is stunningly beautiful. i love that is has nice lume. the watch feels very substantial. not like my sub, but very substantial never the less.the bracelet is a work of art. love that it has a fold over clasp.the watch appears to be a super blend of class, sport and style. i really think this is a do everything watch. i won't be rock climbing with it, nor going to the gym, but i will be at the beach this weekend, and it will be with me. i have not sized it yet, but it feels amazing......it appears to be the perfect size for my wrist. not too big, not too small, but just perfect. will get it sized tonight. more impressions will follow. thanks all for helping me with this process. i absolutely feel like i can wear this everyday. i probably won't, but i like the fact that i can.
