New Ernst Benz ChronoDiver Supports Charity
The ChronoDiver concept was conceived more than two years ago when Ernst Benz’s designer and managing director Leonid Khankin met with Mr. Benz at BASELWORLD. During the meeting, Mr. Benz presented Mr. Khankin with an original diving watch prototype from the 1980s. The original inspired this new model. Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the ChronoDiver will be introduced in Ernst Benz's signature 47mm size and it will be offered with either a black or white dial with original hands reminiscent of Benz's dashboard instrumentation. The highly legible Arabic Super-LumiNova numerals are framed in polished steel. The watch features a rotating bezel marked for 60 minutes to measure the length of a dive and a graduated scale for the first 15 minutes to make it easier for the diver to measure his descent. The watch will be delivered with a rubber strap, the company's hand-stitched alligator strap or a stainless steel bracelet and will be an individually numbered series. The Chrono
My First Breitling. Super Avenger 2 from AD.
Finally decided on the Super Avenger 2 instead of the Avenger Hurricane. This the first watch I have ever bought from an AD since the price was so good compared to the gray market. I love the Warranty Card that is basically an electronic card. Now I have my Two Tone Rolex Submariner, Panerai Pam90 and my Breitling Super Avenger 2.
Aqua Terra w/8500
Are AD's receiving these yet or does anyone know when they will be available? Any idea of the pricing on SS w/ black dial model?
Patek 5035 or 6000 ?
I am contemplating my first patek and have narrowed it down to the 5035 & 6000. What would you choose based on movement 315 vs, 240, which is better? The 5035 is a discontinued model and the Calatrava 6000 is current.Do you thing the 6000 dial is too busy with all the numbers ? I wear mostly 40mm watches and feel patek's smaller size of 37 & 38mm may be a little small, my wrist size is a 7. I plan to wear this mostly with casual wear & jeans, I think they both can be dressed up or down but feel free to chime in. Thoughts ?
