Watches NEWS
AP retailer did lose my warrantybooklet!
Hello guys,A few months ago I did send my AP to the APSC trough a official retailer. I gave them my warranty booklet and my watch. PpNow, after 4 months the watch is back in a little green AP shipping box and I’ve picked it up at the retailer. The warrantybooklet was missing also there was no brown pouche (that you get after a paid full service). They said that APSC will try to look for the booklet and if it is lost they will come back on it and “solve” the problem. As far as I know, AP doesn’t provide the warrantybooklet the second time! What can I expect and what can I do?
Your Thoughts???
Hello Friends,Lately I've been contemplating the Omega brand. More specifically the Omega 2254 (like the look and a discontinued model) and the 3570 (the only watch to make it to the moon). Just wondering what some of you Rolex/Omega collectors thought? If you own one, please show some pics and let me know how they measure up to your almighty Rolex. Thanks in advance.
More or less?
I never thought a few years ago it would be like this but in fact I am 10 times happier with a small amount of watches than with a big one, it's very strange because at one moment I had; Rolexes: sub date, Batman, Daytona RG 116515, Pams: 233, 28, 82, Blancpain L-Evolution alarm GMT, Patek 5712, and in a way I was not happy, I was wearing my Patek 99% of the time and the others were in the safe.I am incapable of enjoying a big collection as I wear the 1-2 I prefer, I flipped all of them except the Patek and added a Hulk, which I never wore, so it got flipped too, at the moment I have the 5712 and 5726 on strap, and for me it's a great solution, I love both, have had the 5726 3 weeks, wore it 2, put it back in the safe and now am wearing the 5712, so basically it'll probably be 2 weeks one and 2 weeks the other, couldn't be happier, but when you think about it it's quite strange as I always thought that I would love to have a big collection, but having nice watches and not wearing them
On the hunt for a BLNR in Japan
Hi all, am heading to Tokyo on holiday next week and on the lookout for a BLNR while I am there. I heard a rumour that there are no waiting lists in Japan and so I might be lucky enough to find one at an AD if by chance they have had a recent delivery? If not I can apparently pick a new one up on the grey market - although I should expect to pay at least $1000 USD above retail? :O can anyone confirm this?Thinking this might be one of the few opportunities I get to be able to purchase a BLNR as I'm not high rollin' enough for the dealer in my country to prioritise me on the waiting list (sometime in the next year) am also concerned they might discontinue the batman next year OR WORSE bring out a new model on a jubilee that can't be changed a la the new Pepsi. There seem to be a hell of a lot of AD's in Tokyo - but would I be wasting my precious vacation time hitting up the AD's on the off chance they might have a BLNR in stock at retail?Or should I just bite the bullet and head for the n
Landed: My Wife Loves A Rose
Mrs. Wildcat465, in spite of her vast trove of sparkly trinkets that would make any spoiled princess envious, would not stand for my grail's arrival without having a little something for herself. When reminded that she already has a YG ladies president showered with diamonds, she made me understand that old bauble is of little consequence since that acquisition was made almost one-half score ago and it's much too small for her big eyes. She insisted...no, demanded, that she needed something rosy to match a ring that she purchased not three weeks ago. So, here is the blossom that she picked. (Unfortunately <insert her pouting face here>, it missing diamonds on the dial. So, I'm scouring the world trying to find her a rose diamond dial. Can anyone help?
