Jumbo vs 15300 vs Dual Time for a small collection
I have a collection that currently consists of only four pieces: 14060, 118239, Speedmaster Professional and a JLC Grande Reverso Calander. I would like to add a Royal Oak in the 39mm size. Which AP do you think would be the most appropriate for my collection? Each watch seems to have its pros and cons. I love the looks of all 3. Thanks
What about 5204p ?
Hi everyoneI have quiet good pieces in my collection like 5164a, 5990a, 5980/1r, 5711/1p, 5524g, 5131r, 6102p and I have been keeping an eye on 5204p(black dial) for a while. I didn't any of it around and also did not see any topics about it here. I would like to know about what you think of it ? Does it make sense compared to 5270 ? is it really that limited produced since it is split second ? Do you believe it has a future value ?Any comments and suggestions related to it is welcome. 111 vs 024
I have a 111 at the moment, but am toying with the idea of trading for a 024 submersible. It's looks so cool on the wrist and I like it more and more the more I see it. I'm wondering if there are any intangibles to consider, such as cost of servicing an ETA hand wind movement vs the Valjoux automatic, accuracy of the movements, ability to collect or hide the dings that show up, etc. The thought of replacing a bezel vs polishing out scratches sounds nice, too (unless I'm off on that). Thanks!
Just noticed the little Rolex logo at the bottom of the new GMT Master II
Not sure if this qualified to be important to post a thread about it ;) but where it says Swiss Made, Rolex have added a crown symbol between the words. What do you guys think?
