This year, Audemars Piguet celebrated the 40th anniversary of the original Royal Oak. Next year marks two decades of the larger, sportier Royal Oak Offshore, and Audemars Piguet plans to commemorate the milestone with the release of the extremely limited Royal Oak Grande Complication. The watch makes its debut at the SIHH watch fair in January, but the company has offered a tantalizing glimpse of it now.Audemars Piguet launched the Royal Oak Offshore in 1993, but the family-owned watch company, based in Le Brassus, Switzerland, has a history of making grand complications that stretches back to 1882. Water resistance test before the 2 years expire...
Hi everyoneAs my 15300 is on it's way, I wanted to validate couple of things with you. Watch has been originally sold June 2011, so this coming june, it will be 2 years old. I have read on the AP website that if it is sent to the APSC for testing water resistance, they give a 3rd year of warranty.Questions I had is1: is it recommended to do anything else, I suppose no but ...2: will they refresh the case, bezel and bracelet to bring it to a like new ?3: how long does it take ?Reason I am asking is that the watch I got is pre-owned with some little marks on the bezel that I would like them removed at the same time, really nothing to worry about but just wanted your input.Cheers,

Brietling repair options - crown and middle case damage
Hey All,I am UK based and am looking to get my watch repaired. I've got a question that I may already know the answer to but wanted to see if anyone may know otherwise?I have a Breitling Colt that has taken damage to the crown and middle case? I can't screw the crown down properly so I believe both of these will need to be changed.I've also noticed a bit of play when attempting to set the time and recently had a scare when the crown stopped moving the hands completely. A quick screw in and back out seemed to have fixed the issue but I haven't set the time again recently.Is there anywhere in the UK I can send it to for repair other than the official Breitling service center?

In spring 1990 I ordered a SS sub date from an AD in Reading-UK who said they would remove the cyclops with a guarantee to do it ok. (I live in the non-cyclops department and my eveyday wear is a 114060) see here.... I had the phone call after 2 weeks back in 1990 and meandered my boney-ass down town to collect. I arrived to find a very apologetic Store Manager. He was gushing with embarrassment and told me that they had ordered the wrong model and had received a Sea Dweller instead. Would I be happy to take the Dweller at the same price of the Sub less ?100 with a ?300 store gift voucher! the papers I have show the MSP at ?1,697.So my Dweller T25 cost me ?1297 . I sold to a smashing collector when my divorce was strangling me.....now rebuilding a new life and collecting again
