Considering trading/selling my Explorer I (39mm) for Omega Aqua Terra
First of all, I'm sure I'll regret this because I love my Explorer. It's one of the most comfortable watches I've ever owned and I just love the look. HOWEVER, the one thing that is starting to bother me is the lack of date. With that said, I've been considering a similar watch/look/pedigree, so the 41.5 Omega Aqua Terra Calibre 8500 is a possible replacement. I need to check it out in person, because I'm not sure if I'll like the teak look of the dial. Perhaps I should also consider an older Aqua Terra for the glossy black dial? First Patek, I want something iconic..
Hello gents! I am about to open Pandora's box and dive into the world of Patek. For my first piece, I would want something iconic and in yellow gold.. I have narrowed down my choices to the 5119J and the 5196J. Just wanted to ask the opinion of the experts as to which Calatrava model best represents the brand. Future of the DJII 116333
I've had a thing for this model for many years now and since it's been discontinued with the oyster bracelet and gray dial, I'm curious where prices could go. This was kind of a poster child for Rolex in advertising for quite a while. How do you think used prices will fare? I've already felt the heat of prices on bluesy 16613 subs. Not sure how things will go with the DJ2 considering it's not a sports model. All enabling aside, strike while the iron's hot??
