SIHH Rewind: A Week On The Wrist With The Baume & Mercier Clifton 10057 Complete Calendar
Baume & Mercier is one of the more wallet-friendly brands that shows at SIHH and last year released the entirely new Clifton collection. The most complicated of the Clifton watches is the 10057 Complete Calendar, a modern take on a style the was at the height of popularity in the 1940s and 50s. The Clifton Complete Calendar got our attention and we strapped it on for a full A Week On The Wrist review back in May. Click through for a ton of live photos, a brief history of the calendar watch, and our complete thoughts on this budget-conscious triple calendar.
RECEIVED 3rd YEAR STICKER...NOW WHAT?
Hi everyone, I just received my 3rd year warranty sticker for my 15400. Now, I have questions on what to do next. I figure members here have used this before. My two years expires January 2016, can I drop it off at the boutique or ship it myself to clearwater? Also, should I request any additional services with the pressure test? I have attached an image of it and wondering what gets affixed to what. Thanks,

Hi,I am busy reading the book (Tx Russell) about the 3700 history-study....Now i am wondering how can you check accuracy when a certain piece like the 3700 doesn't have a second hand?Grts,R
5170 j question
Hello,I have been reading your posts for a few months now and there is certainly a lot of great conversation. I just received my new 5170 j and wondering if anyone knows the proper amount of rotations of the crown to be fully wound.
6917 (DJ) Question
My wife has expressed an interest in a watch. Issues is, what she likes (size/style) wise is (in my opinion) overpriced unless it's been redone by a jeweler with aftermarket dial/bezel. Question is: How terrible is to have a (ladies) watch with a non-factory dial/bezel? I understand the pitfalls of Rolex service and their policy on non-factory parts. But, beyond that? There are several to be had in the less than $3K range right now on Ebay (for instance). I have bought twice from sellers here but the ladies watches don't seem to be that popular for resale/gray market sales so not much luck there. It's between a DJ with aftermarket (diamond) bezel and MOP dial..... or a 29mm Yacthmaster which would come 100% complete and correct with all boxes/paperwork. The difference between the two price wise doesn't matter all that much to me. Thoughts?
