Watches NEWS
Longest bracelet change
I bought this back in October, but the bracelet was faulty: too wide to fit between the lugs properly (nice QC Omega!). I guess this is what happens when the watch is sold on a NATO. I took it back to the AD in December and it took Omega until yesterday to get it fixed. That's quite a long turn around time for fitting a new bracelet. I'm glad to have it back, and I just wanted to let the rest of the forum members know that Omega appears to have similar turn around times to Patek.
Looking for a new black (2534.50) or white (2538.20) SMP GMT?
I happened by a local AD this afternoon who has these two in stock:If you are interested, PM me for contact info.If you have any questions, you will need to talk with the AD.Fr. John?
Thoughts on Women's Watches
I'm looking for a gift for my wife's birthday and have looked at the Patek Nautilus' and the 4910 line (quartz). The 4910 is a good looking watch but I just can't bring myself to buy a quartz watch at that price. Does anyone have thoughts on the 4910 line and any suggestions for women's watches?
Of the New GMTs Which Will You Buy?
OK which will you buy? 126710BLRO, 126711CHNR, and/or 126715CHNR? For me it will be the 11CHNR.
Generally, when do Datejust 41 prices drop?
I'm interested in getting my first Rolex, the 2017 DJ41 to be exact. It seems prices are high at the moment in the America because Christmas (assumption) and the demand. I'm wondering if anyone has a graph or data on the price of new grey market DJs over time? Saving a couple hundred dollars would be nice. Not looking - nor expecting 1000s in savings.
