New Montblanc Heritage Chronom��trie Watches (Updated With Live Photos & Prices)
At last year’s SIHH, Montblanc launched its Heritage Chronom��trie collection, with designs inspired chiefly by the 1948-era Pythagore timepieces created by the storied Minerva manufacture in Villeret, Switzerland (now known as Montblanc Manufacture). This year, the brand adds two new complications to the collection: an unusual date indication and a chronograph with annual calendar.The two new timepieces �� the Montblanc Heritage Chronom��trie Twin Counter Date and Montblanc Heritage Chronograph Quanti��me Annuel �� join their predecessors in the collection, all of which bear the design codes of the Pythagore, including elegant Arabic numerals; faceted, applied indices; sword-shaped hands; slender cases; straight bezels; and curving lugs.The Montblanc Heritage Chronom��trie Twin Counter Date takes its look from double-counter Minerva chronograph watches from the 1950s, but it does not in fact include a chronograph function. Toasting my Polar Addition...
I know many folks prefer the 16570, but I've had my eyes on a polar 216570 for a few years now and IMHO, Rolex got everything right with this one. I travel quite a bit, so my GMT LN was getting a lot of wear and I decided I wanted something a bit more casual, but that retained the ability for a dual time zone. After wearing this one all weekend, I believe it may have knocked out the 16600 as my favorite daily beater. Anyways, the family is all in bed, so I figured I'd wind down before the start of the week with one of my favorite pours. Have a great week my fellow TRFers!
