Blancpain Saint Valentin 2008 Women's Watch: Very Nicely Done
Women's watches usually aren't given that much attention by watch enthusiasts. They come in two basic varieties, miniature dolled up versions of men's watches, or some watch richly gilded with jewels. While these watches can be appreciated, they are hardly things rich in innovation or novel interest. Typically, much more time is spent on men's watches when it comes to new technology, avant-garde styling or new complications.Another reason women's watches tend to be less interesting is that they are often quartz movements. This makes sense as women tend to want watches with less hassle as they switch between several of them. In spite of this however, there are a good deal of mechanical women's watches out there, and this Blancpain is an excellent example. While Blancpain has much history, it is a re-emerging brand. Omega "Reverse" Speedy Panda 32105100
A few months ago I was searching high and low for an Omega Speedy Panda. I went in to the Omega boutique here in Beverly Hills just to try one on and to my surprise the watch was not easy to read. (Old man eyes! ) First of all 40mm does not help, then the white background also did not help. Then I saw the reverse Panda, black with white dials and magic! I soon a good deal and now an Omega Speedmaster (32105100) is in the collection.
5711 dial Variations
Are there 2 variations of the dial on the blue dials?Referring to the Patek Philippe logo.one comes with regular lines and Patek embedded in the middle of the linesAnd the second comes like the rose gold dial, where patek logo is one piece with Geneve, embeded between the lines. If so, any one more rare than the other?
Nautilus dimensions 5711 vs 5712
I know they have the same case dimensions (except the 5712 being slightly thicker) but doesn't the 5712 just look larger than the 5711 overall? Can anyone who has tried/own both pieces weigh in on how big they look and feel in person?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
SS Daytona
I currently own a Submariner 16613 blue dial. Thinking about putting it up to purchase a SS Daytona. What would be a good price for one in your opinion? With papers of course. 6.5k? Also why are they so much more expensive compared to Subs on the pre owned market? Thank you.
