Maitres du Temps Chapter Three Reveal Watch
Round watches are certainly in again this year. Well round watches are pretty much ALWAYS in - though for high-end brand Maitres du Temps a 42mm wide round-cased watch is a bit unexpected. Nevertheless, that is exactly what the new Chapter Three Reveal watch looks like. For their third creation Maitres du Temps goes super classic in design, and offers a neat set of complications worth of the Maitres du Temps name. The Maitres du Temps Chapter One was a massively sized watch with an incredible amount of complications. The Chapter Two was a sort of baby Chapter One with a more simple movement and more wearable size. Each of those watches has tonneau style cases (well, mostly). What endures over to the Chapter Three from the other two models is the use of rollers in the movement to indicate information. Rollers will apparently be a signature element of Maitres du Temps timepieces.Like all Maitres du Temps watches, the Chapter Three is a collaborative effort with the brand and two very spec
Size matters help- ROO
Not unlike many on here I have a smaller wrist and trying to figure out if the ROO would be too large for my wrist. I wear suits at work so I think it best that I try one on before I buy. Thanks to David for the suggestion. As I live in southeastern VA there are no AD's around. Are there any forum members that live close that I could try one on or get comments from? Not trying to be presumptuous just looking for a little help. Thanks
My Grandfather's Omega
Thought I share a picture of my grandfather's Omega. Watch was given to my grandfather by his company for his long years of service and was his daily beater. He handed it down to me last year and by then the watch crystal was badly scratched, the minute hand was loose and the movement was in a rather bad shape from lack of service.Sent it back to Bienne and after a 6 month long wait I'm rather pleased with the result
Help a girl choose - DJ TT or Black dial w/ Diamonds?
Hi, I usually read but rarely post... seems a lot of posters here are male, which is great. I have polled my girlfriends, so it will be interesting to hear some male opinions!Help me choose - I currently have a 31mm very simple silver dial for everyday wear. I am looking for a dressier Rolex, so I have narrowed it down to the 36mm DJ black dial with diamonds, or two-tone DJ with white dial. They are both approximately the same price.I want something that is eye catching and dressy as my current Rolex is quite simple. Some of my considerations:I don't have any yellow gold jewelry and I tend to choose white metals. Both my Love and JUC are white. However, I find myself drawn to the two tone as it screams classic Rolex to me. Do you agree with this, in your opinion is the two tone more classic and timeless than all white?I'm not sure if yellow gold would even complement my skin tone... opinions please?I don't want a watch that looks too similar to the one I currently have.I love diamonds on
Two Aviation Icons
Delta is retiring their 747 fleet and I was lucky enough to be invited to a farewell tour stop at LAX yesterday evening. I obviously had to wear my 16710 and snap a quick picture of the two beauties...
