Mixed results with AP Service
Well, I went to pick up my 15300 at the NYC boutique today. While I had been very happy with the fact that AP had agreed to service/pressure test my watch under warranty (which technically had expired a few weeks before i brought the watch to them) I was a little nervous about all the horror stories i had been hearing about AP service.Lo and behold, I went to pick up my watch and found a prominent scratch (albeit not very deep) right on the bezel. Obviously, I was very unhappy about this. To their credit the boutique staff took the watch back without question and will be sending it back to clearwater to be refinished/polished. They also made a point of telling me that the turnaround shouldnt be more than a week. So...am i disappointed? sure. AP should have much stricter quality control. Who exactly is handling our watches and how are there so many stories like this floating around? I just purchased a mint condition Omega Seamaster Professional 300M on eBay. How can I find out if it's fake or real? What do you think is the right price for a mint condition Seamaster Professional 300M? Thank you for your advice and information. Also, if there any positive or negative about this specific model? Omega Mark 2
Hi gang. I have a 1970 Omega Mark 2 that I bought in Vietnam, thought about sending it to Switzterland for restoral. It's still very nice and non faded dial, hour markers still lume briefly to this day. Should I send it for a total makeover or is it worth more all original?? Always thought they should be kept original but would really like to see this as I bought it way back when, advise welcome..

Updates on the Panerai Website?
I went on to the Panerai official website and failed to find the following modelsPAM 000 ---> Replaced by the PAM 1000PAM 005 ---> Replaced by the PAM 1005PAM 111 ---> I guess Panerai is moving in-house with their p.5000 movements with the PAM 510PAM 112 ---> Same case for this model being replaced by the PAM 560.Maybe different collections are shown under different websites, but I tried the international website along with some other ones like the US and not able to find these models. Any expert care to chime in?

The Air King. What do you dislike about this watch?I've seen them in practically every AD display. Always available and I've been offered significant discount on one nearly every time. Help me understand as I seem to like quirky watches.
