Watches NEWS
Why has AP stopped production of forged carbon's watch?
Is it something to do with the material itself? not durable?
Birthday present
Since I wasn't able to get a Silver snoopy (I had a deposit on one but no go) I decided on this instead (and I think I like it better!)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Incoming Broad Arrow!
Just purchased a 2006 Broad Arrow! After deliberating and searching for a moonwatch for sometime now. I opted for something different. I came across the cream dial and blue hand broad arrow and said wow! Needless to say I fell in love. Figured it would be a nice addition to the collection. I've never owned a white dial watch. Here's a pic from the current owner, I will be receiving it by the end of the week.
50 shades...
Terrible movie....but Awesome Omega Shots...AT GMT, A Speedmaster '57, an Orange Gold Speedmaster 9300...Without that, the movie would have been insufferable...but on Watch shots alone, I have to give it a thumbs up
Omega military find
This is not the sort of thing one expects to find at a flea market in country Queensland, maybe in the UK or the US but not here and I was quite taken aback when I spotted the two of them in a small cabinet on a guys stall amongst the bric a brac. He told me he purchased them over twenty years ago when he had a shop and hid them away as a future nest egg and now was the time to cash them in. The military Omega was more of a worry as I just dont see them in the flesh here, but I had known the guy for probably thirty odd years on and off from the market circuit and he was an honest operator. I always make a point of carrying my case openers with me whenever out on the hunt but today I had forgotten them so was unable to check serial numbers. I gave them a good look over and was familiar with the Speedies and was hoping that because of the raised logo on the dial in was going to be the earlier 321 movement. He was not giving them away and of course had the internet and knew the prices etc
