Watches NEWS
Alain Silberstein iKrono Watch
This isn't a brand new release (still pretty fresh though) from French watch maker Alain Silberstein - and it is one of my favorites. Sort of like his take on the Bell & Ross BR01 instrument watch look and style. Best of is that I got to check some iKrono watches out last month in person. A square case in titanium with an elevated round dial. The case is available in a micro-grain finish (sort of like sandblasted) and also with black PVD coating. Alain Silberstein further uses a special silicium anti-stain treatment. This is a really good addition when dealing with things like finger oils and such. The cases don't really smudge when you touch them. I love the machine-like presentation, though it is softened by smooth bolts on the case and the overall smooth edges all over the case and surfaces. This gives it a more cartoon line, friendly look.? The watch isn't small either being 47mm wide (BR01 is 46mm wide) and 20mm tall. A really great look on your wrist if you ask me - very char
PO troubles
Hi GuysUnfortunately my Omega PO 42mm has suffered the stoppage issue for a second time having previously been repaired back in 09 under warranty.I would ideally like rid of the watch but don't know where I stand legally regarding refund or replacement. The watch is still under warranty as Omega gave my another full 3 years from the time of the first repair. I understand they will probably want to try and repair it yet again, but I really have had enough now. Thanks for any input/advice.regardsRich
New member needs advise - Daytona
Hi all, I am new to the forum and i have been reading a lot of your great advises. That helped a lot on my journey deciding for my first rolex model: Daytona. I adore the Daytona, i feel in love with it after seeing the TT black MOP with diamonds, but now i have also seen the rose gold and find it very hard to decide. Which one do you like? which of the 2 do you think will hold the value best? I will hopefully never want to sell it, but who knows. My first Rolex will be bought in a Rolex store. hope you can help :)
Great Saturday for an....INCOMING!
Hello TRF...I stopped by my local Midwest AD this morning and this little gem was calling my name. She'll make a great companion to my WG BLRO. The AD had multiple SS sport models, including a BLNR, Sub date & no date. For what it's worth, I left the store with all stickers in tact. Thanks for reading!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
