Arnold & Son Instrument CTB "Central True Beat" Chronograph Watch
Arnold & Son has been coming up with many interesting pieces in recent times and last year saw them introduce the world's thinnest tourbillon movement in their UTTE (Ultra Thin Tourbillon Escapement) watch.?More recently, they introduced the very interesting DSTB (Dial Side True Beat) watch, which will premiere at Baselworld 2014 next week.Like the Arnold & Son DSTB watch, the new Arnold & Son Instrument CTB (Central True Beat) watch will feature a true beat or dead beat seconds hand with a chronograph complicationC the first ever as we understand it. We don't see dead seconds often, but what it means is that instead of the seconds hand sweeping smoothly, ?it will tick like a quartz watch. That may not sound like much, after all Antoine Martin's Slow Runner also has a dead seconds hand courtesy of its 1Hz movement. What makes the Instrument CTB stand out is that it is also a chronograph and that its dead seconds hand is mounted centrally along with the regular running second

Nato Straps for a 47mm
Hi, anyone have a good source for a Nato strap for my 372? I saw a nice one on Instagram and asked the owner where he got it and he pointed me to an Italian company. When I contacted them, they said the shipping alone was 60 Euros to Asia for the straps. No way I'm paying more for shipping than the price of the straps. Anyway, does someone have a source for some good Nato straps?Cheers!
Tudor Pepsi GMT - Blue/Red Bezel Combination
Tudor did a great job in combining the BLUE from the BBB bezel and RED from the BBR bezel to make the new GMT Pepsi bezel they just released. It looks great and is perfect for Tudor not only because the color tones are just right with the aluminum bezel but also it actually draws from the Tudors' recent Black Bay history.I am curious if Tudor/Rolex knew they were going to make a Pepsi bezel all along when they initially released the BBR and BBB and planned this for years....OR did some engineer/marketer just wake up last year and said hey let's use the current Black Bay red and blue colors for a new Pepsi GMT....I'm not sure of the lead time to create a new watch, but luck or planning they did good.(i'd still pick Rolex BLRO SS over Tudor GMT but I do appreciate Tudor's execution of the GMT)
