Why There Is No Best Watch And How I Don't Have A Favorite Timepiece
Choose just one watch forever? Why?I am sorry to disappoint the superlative loving masses but there is no one best watch and I regret to inform you that I don't have a standout favorite timepiece or watch brand. It is worth noting that what prompted me to assemble the collection of thoughts in this article is the experience of several years of people innocently repeatedly asking me these questions. The inquisitive remarks themselves are no doubt natural but few people seem to be satisfied with my response. When it comes down to it, I cannot in good faith claim a single best or list of best watch brands, nor will I put myself in a position to choose "just one watch I could own if I had a choice." Advice 15400/15450 on 6.8 wrist
I have a 6.8 (17.5cm) wrist and i am trying to choose between a 15400 and 15450 white dail. No AD close by to try them on so i will be buying the watch online. So i realy could use some advise so that i can make the right choice.I have sub dates (ceramic) and a sub 14060m. I can wear both models fine altough have a slight preference for the 14060m sizewise for my wrist. I'm not a fan of big/oversized watches.I'm leaning towards the 15450 but some YouTube videos with the 15400 on a 6.5 inch wrist is making me question again as it looked fine and propotional.Its a bit hard to measure but i think the top of my wrist is about 2.16 (5.5cm) so i asume lug overhang won't be an issue with the 15400Here is a pick from my sub on my wrist:imgur . com/a/Zt7K3 (remove the spaces to view)Please let me know what you think. 15400 or 15450?

BLNR Incoming
Just spoke to my local AD back home (midwest) just to check in and surprisingly they had a BLNR in stock, so obviously I snapped it up.Anyone recently just walked into an AD and bought a BLNR out of the case given all the recent reports of the SS models being in a serious drought in North America? I'm in shock right now.Full disclosure, I had one in 2016 but flipped it for an AP (bad move given how much I sold it for and how the value has appreciated since then on used models)... this one I'll probably keep for a while!

I am looking to buy a day date 40 with black dial but unsure to get the black diamond dial and also would the diamond bezel on top of that be too much bling? I'm thinking it would be best left untouched with no diamonds but would like to hear your thoughtsCheers
