Kari Voutilainen Thinks This Young Watchmaker Is Cool, And You Should Too: Rexhep Rexhepi's AkriviA Tourbillon
What were you doing when you were 14 years old? I was in high school in California, playing lots of soccer and generally getting into trouble. Over in Switzerland, Rexhep Rexhepi was an apprentice at Patek Philippe working on tourbillons. Now he has started his own brand, AkriviA. While AkriviA is young, the brand has already drawn praise. A while back Kari Voutilainen was in NYC for a Q&A event. A question was asked along the lines of, "what young watchmakers are doing interesting things?" price increase jan 2nd 2013?
I heard from a couple different sources that AP plans on hitting the US with a price increase the day after newyears.. has anyone else heard of this?The problem is, i have had a watch on order for the past 3 months and it has not come in, I have paid for 90% of the watch and now I fear getting hit with a price increase which is unfair I think.. I will just cancel my order if thats the case. Not going to pay for AP making me wait on a watch that i have been ready to buy for months.
