Vacheron Constantin Historiques Aronde 1954
This newcomer to the Historiques collection is inspired by a model created during the post-war years. Its pink gold 31.2 x 44. 55mm case embodies a complex construction. Aronde is an Old French word for a swallow's wings, and it refers to the original double-rounded curve unfurling almost like wings along the case flanks. The opaline silvered dial is adorned with a fine hand-guilloch. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. This distinctive piece with a vintage spirit is powered by Calibre 1400 AS, a mechanical hand-wound movement, bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, developed and manufactured in-house by Vacheron Constantin. This piece has a style all its own, and it harks back to the days when a successful writer, artist, or other creative individual might express their position through the timepiece on their wrist. The USA retail price is $26,200.Technical data appears below the images, which may be enlarged with a click. Magrette Taniwha Engraved Gold Inlaid Watch
Before you is the latest limited edition watch from New Zealand watch maker Magrette. This is the first look at the now available Magrette Taniwha watch. Hours of hand engraving has gone into the beautiful fully decorated case, which has been taken up a step with gold inlay decoration. It is a long process with many steps to yield the final result. I personally love the Magrette engraved watches. Not only does no other watch company offer watches like this, but the engravings are beautiful. The designs have characters and scenes, with emotions and the high skill of the engraver. If you aren't the type of person who is used to wearing "decorated" things, I suggest trying it out. There is a special feeling of worth you get from it. Living in an industrialized world, we are so devoid of things hand decorated, or even decorated at all. We are used to things being just good enough, or often not even good enough at all. Having some decorated object adorn our outfits is quite the exotic treat
15202 service costs?
I want to get a sense how much service costs on this thing -- everything from routine to lots of stuff is broken. Any other users willing share their experiences?
Gmt 2 on leather band
Well my gmt 16710 bracelet is annoying me a little. It either a little too loose or a little too tight. Now I don't really want to stretch it. So thinking of getting a leather strap. Can people please post their Pepsi/Coke on strap? Is it a good look? Ps. If there is a trick to resizing the bracelet I would appreciate some pointers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What to do with $10,500
This sum of cash, whilst not insignificant, cuts out all the PM pieces. Include old or new, fat and slim. At the moment I am umming and ahhhhing (a lot of ahhhiiin) between 16710 pepsi or coke ($10,500 in good nick), GMT2 LN, GMT BLNR, Hulk and the IWC Pilot Mark XVIII. Let me know. For wearing and owning forever, not for reselling later. You'll only make money on watches through luck, or by being Paul Newman.PS I already own a Submariner 16610.
