Nearly a year ago Christopher Ward announced their game changing SH21 movement. In a single move, granted one that was many years in the making, C. Ward changed the watch industry, demonstrating that in-house Swiss-made movements with robust features weren't just for haute brands and giant luxury corporations. They showed that at a price point where many luxury brands are still using Sellitas and ETAs (if they can get them) as well as quartz, that a relatively small on-line only watch brand could manufacture a 5-day chronometer�� which is to say not just a movement, but one that would command a higher than average price. Only 150 made why are they so cheap? I think it's a beautiful watch. Also it's not the most basic complication it has chrono at least. I'm confused at why this is priced the way it is. Sub 20k. Someone enlighten me please and thanks!

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS event...
I was fortunate enough to attend AP's latest charity event benefiting Broadway Cares/EFA, which was hosted by the current cast of the hit musical Jersey Boys, and let me tell you, the evening was nothing short of a revelation.Never mind that I got to see old friends like Al Armstrong (his own best customer) as well as chat with newly-minted AP CEO, Francois Bennahmias, the music was the focus of the evening. News flash: these guys can sing, and what's more, they're all perfect gentlemen who remain humble on the face-of their considerable vocal gifts.(yes, the camera on my HTC EVO leaves much to be desired...)It must be said here that at no point in the evening was Francois more animated or genuinely excited then when he was speaking about the charity and his commitment to keeping this partnership going throughout his tenure. This man believes 100% in giving back to the community, and it shows. He made me proud to be an AP owner twice over, and I look forward to the day when I can add

Hey guys, I am a proud owner of a new coaxial model seamaster with black dial. I have heard these models with aluminum bezels and coaxial movements are kind of rare. Is there any validity to that statement? I am new to omega and I have only ever owned two prior omega speedy dates. This is my first diving model. GMT BLRO UK AD Discount?
Hi AllI've been becoming very tempted to pick up a BLRO. I've tried one on a few times over the past 18 moths and am now about ready to jump in. That said I'm concerned that I buy at the right price (to avoid a big depreciation trap). PM watches don't seem to shift so well and can hang about in AD's for a while. I know a grey BLRO can be picked up from various sellers here in the UK for between ?21-23K. Personally I'd rather purchase from an AD and I know many will have the watch in stock for the list price of about ?28K.My question is what kind of discount might I expect to be able to obtain at a UK AD for an 'in stock' BLRO? I know there answer for SS will be 0% but expect many will do something on a PM model. Thanks
