Hanhart Pioneer Monocontrol Review
When we talk about value, one region of the world always comes to mind; Germany. German-made watches continually offer incredible build quality, remarkable tech and even in-house movements all at fair prices. Not cheap, but fair. The brands, which are typically not available at retail, usually command prices that take a commitment, but for watches that deliver far beyond what their Swiss counterparts would. From Archimede to Sinn, Damasko to Nomos, Stowa to Junghans, there isn't a brand that manufactures in Germany that has disappointed us. Today, we are going to take a look at a brand that is new to worn&wound, but has been in existence for over 100 years, Hanhart.Founded by Willy Hanhart in 1882, the brand was originally based in Switzerland and then moved to Germany. Three months ago I sold my Rolex Sub C Date, a watch that almost never left my wrist for the two-and-a-half years I had it, for quick cash after buying a new Harley and realizing something had to go (I know, life is tough..cough..cough...ahem). My Omega trio
I am looking for input from other Omega Seamaster/Speedmaster owners. My current collection consists of a Seamaster Planet Ocean chronograph, a Speedmaster 1957 Broad Arrow and a Seamaster Planet Ocean XL.I am thinking of selling one of the Planet Oceans. Any suggestions of what I should replace it with? Thanks in advance for your suggestions and comments.
Happened upon this 5167, and am now part of the club.
A lucky find, this 5167, at my local AD.
TT GMT/SUB availability UK.
Travelling back to the UK via Doha in the next 2-3 months. What are my chances of getting one of these models in the UK when I'm there? Tax free makes it very attractive.I frequently read about SS supply issues but does this apply to the 116713LN / 116613LB as well? Heathrow on way out would be perfect for me but I'm not sure you can simply ring them and reserve one??Merry Christmas to all.
