12 years ago Mechanical Engineer and watch collector Nicolaus Spinner had a vision to create his own watch. Having access to the latest CNC machines in Munich, Germany helped make the dream a reality. The UTS Commander was born, a unique watch case that featured a 45mm case with front and back sapphire crystals. Fast forward and UTS Watches is proud to present the Adventure GMT. Building on the Commander case foundation, UTS adds an automatic Valgranges GMT movement. Super-Luminova glowing in bright blue. Six hex screws connect through front-middle into the back watch case. The Adventure rating is typical conservative rating of an engineer. Each watch is tested well beyond the printed specifications. Concord Announces C Lab Series
Concord announces the creation of C Lab Series, a special unit that will research and develop cutting-edge timepieces. Concord describes C Lab Series as a “hub of expression and design, whose mission is to transform watchmaking. In this testing ground of ideas, science and engineering become an art-form while research and development becomes a discipline in its own right.” The C Lab Series will test and employ “futuristic” materials, and Concord plans to offer grants to universities and engineering schools to pursue “extraordinary watchmaking partnerships.”
Breitling warranty paperwork
Good afternoon!I am purchasing a pre owned Breitling for Bentley, and it come complete with all books and paperwork. The watch was purchased brand new from an authorized dealer about 6 years ago. However! the warranty info was left blank. Not named and not dated! If I were to put my name on the warranty paperwork, would I be covered by Breitlings warranty?...or, does this open paperwork just make a nice bookmark as this watch is 6 years old? Thanks for any input.Brett
1961 seamaster help
Good morning AllWent up to my parents due to an extremely unfortunate death in our family. While at my parents for dinner my dad gave this 1961 (?) Omega Seamaster. It originally belonged to his grandfather. As you can see it was for 40 years of service at his company. It runs, not sure how well it keeps time yet. But, I'd like to get it restored as well as possible while keeping it original. I have zero motivation to ever sell it, even if it was worth a lot (quick google search says it's not worth much anyway)Any help on exact model or whom may do work on vintage Omegas is appreciated. ThanksHard to see, but on the back it says:Presented to J.C. Wright in recognition of 40 years of service. The white motor company 1961.
