Something New from IWC
IWC's latest release has 550 parts and weighs a hefty 4 kilograms. It was three years in the making. It's sure to delight watch lovers everywhere, though it does not tell time. It's a book. As you would expect, IWC Schaffhausen. Engineering Time Since 1868 chronicles the company's history from the founding in 1868, but it also includes an unexpected book within a book . More about that in a minute. The book has three authors. German journalist Manfred Fritz presents the comprehensive company history, compiled with careful attention to historical accuracy. Fritz comes from the area near Schaffhausen and he is a genuine watch enthusiast who has published a number of watch-related books. He previously authored Die Grande Complication von IWC (The Grande Complication of IWC), published in 1991. The book includes 500 illustrations, many of which have never been published before. I have the itch and it is bad. Help needed!
Fellow RF members and watch addicts After 3 weeks of torturing myself on what to buy and I mean hell on earth with hours upon hours spent daily looking at AP and I have one I think I prefer and it all falls apart. I do have it narrowed down that I want a 42mm AP. Other than that I am a lost soul because I simply cannot make a decision and it doesn't get any better the older I get!If you don't mind fellow members please share photos of your 42mm. It would be much appreciated!
Need 2 2T Chronomat Evolution links!
Can anyone help!?New, used, wtvr!
Any women wearing a speedy pro?
My gf likes it and I'm thinking of getting her one, any pics?Used to own one but she never tried it on, just curious about the size.I gave my ex wife a speedmaster date 40mm and she needed an extra hole in the cordura strap. Not sure how many links can be removed from the bracelet, may need to get her a bunch of straps or natos to be able to wear it... she's got small wrists.I'd really like it to be a 42mm.
After the holiday rush - Unbelievable!
This was taken in a Rolex AD in Makati Philippines. Photo is not mine - it was shared in our FB group that I belong to.Crazy!
