One of the most buzzed-about new watch launches in recent years is the Sistem51, a new mechanical watch from the Swatch brand. IWC Three-Hand Ingenieur Sport Watches For 2013
Perhaps IWC's new 40mm wide Ingenieur dress watch was the most talked about new Ingenieur piece for 2013, but for those who like larger sport watches, these more simple-dialed Ingenieur pieces will fit the bill. Got the ND sub last week as I didn't want to miss the chance when I saw one at the Rolex boutique last week.But I just love my SD43 can't take it off my wrist, so I have not yet the incentive to unwrap my ND Sub yet, and not sure when I will want to put this ND sub on my wrist. Paid full retail at my AD for my BLNR...is this common?
Picked up a BLNR last week from an AD. Paid full retail plus tax. This watch was not in stock anywhere around me for the last few months at least. My AD knew i wanted one and called me when it came in. I was so happy that one became available that i didnt even ask for a better price. A guy i know was giving me a hard time tonight saying i should always expect 15-20% off MSRP when dealing with Rolex ADs especially as repeat customers. Any truth to that?

Cutting off Flippers... Good or Bad?
Cutting off those who buy Rolexes from ADs out the back door in order to flip them or buy them for less of a discount in the showroom in order to flip them... What would happen if these people no longer existed? If they were cut off, would it be good for Rolex? Would it be good for ADs? Would it be good for consumers? Or would it be bad? Could there be a certain segment of the market who would no longer buy the watches? Would waiting lists shrink?
