Motorola Moto360 Smartwatch Design Contest Reveals 10 Superb User Interfaces Created By The Public
While the idea of the?smartwatch does not seem as far-fetched as it did a few years ago, tech world?big guns Apple and Google?are both yet to?make their debut in this?extremely potent market segment. Of the two, it was?Google that made the first move a few months ago by announcing its Android Wear OS, its operating system tailored for wearable devices,?in conjunction with the debut of?Motorola's Moto360 Smartwatch. We discussed?the more than promising concept of the Motorola Moto360 Smartwatch at length?here, and now we are?reporting about the fascinating results of the Motorola Moto360 smartwatch?design contest, where?it was the?public's turn to create their own user interface and to?show the world their idea of?what the face of a smartwatch could and should be.The Motorola Moto360 Smartwatch design contest started?on the 21st of May and?entries were accepted until June 10. Over this?period some 1,300 designs?were submitted, despite the fact that, for reasons unstated,?only?US and UK
Bronzo watch thread
Hello everyone I am creating this thread to share our experience regarding how to clean our bronze watches to get rid of the patina or how to build up a nice patinaAnd also to share photos for our straps & buckle on this beauty Here is mine
Datejust 41mm but which dial?
I have got a hankering to own/wear the new 41mm Datejust but I am unsure on which dial colour to go for!I have tried them all on and these were my observations.Blue Dial, looks great and I love the way that it changes colour under a different light. Is it a harder colour to get hold off?Black Dial, is not a solid black, when compared to my Sub, but instead has a slight grey tint to it.Rhodium Dial, looks amazing, but I am unsure if the dial reflects too much.White Dial, sadly to me on a 41mm looks too much.Silver Dial, was not one that I was keen on.Which dial did you choose and why?Photos are always welcome.Once I have sorted that problem out, I then need to choose between fluted or smooth and Jubilee or Oyster
Specific instructions to RSC
Anyone knows if the RSC accepts specific instructions? I have to take my TT GMT II C for service but I don't want to have the watch polished in any way. The scratches it has are small, very superficial and don't bother me at all. I am perfectly fine with a clean up but not polishing.I am not looking for a discount and would pay the service fee set, I just want it done my way. Any experiences?
My Milgauss broke, would it in covered under warranty?
Hello TRFers,Today when I got my Milgauss 116400GV out of the watch box, pull the crown out to wind the watch, I notice that there was a problem. The watch was not winding, it did not go to the first position when the watch is unscrewed instead it goes straight to the second position of hacking. I have 2 questions for you guys.1) Will this be covered under the Rolex warranty?2) How do you send a watch to Rolex? Can you do so by going to a AD?Any help would be appreciated
