Ball Fireman Storm Chaser Pro Watch
Now that we are all knee-deep in Pre-Baselworld news, Ball has announced one of their new models in advance of this year's fair. Called the Fireman Storm Chaser Pro, this new chronograph is a distinct variation from the Storm Chaser and Storm Chaser DLC models we've seen in the past. Borne of a partnership with notable storm chaser, meteorologist, member of the Ball Explorers Club and Ball Ambassador, Dr. Joshua Wurman, the Storm Chaser Pro brings a new case size and bezel design to this lineup of glowing sports chronographs. At 42 mm wide, the Storm Chaser Pro is actually a bit smaller than Ball's current 43 mm Storm Chaser. With a steel case, the Storm Chaser Pro will be available with a black, grey or white dial and will feature a full compliment of 18 glowing 3H micro gas tubes which provide continuous low and no-light legibility. Vintage seamaster 321
I have a 1960's vintage seamaster which belonged to my father. It is in working condition, but one of the chrono hands has fallen off and there is a sizable chip on the crystal. Can this watch still be serviced by Omega or will I need to send it to someone who specializes in vintage watches to have it repaired/serviced?
PAM0098 in Dies in Winder
I was surprised to find my recently serviced PAM0098 (picked up from Panerai service at the end of July), and find the movement would stop after 5-6 days in my winder after placing it in when fully wound. The winder is an Orbita Siena 1 which is set to 650 turns per day in both directions.Should this happen? Any advice on how to proceed? Thanks for any help!
WG Daytona 116519LN incoming
got a call last week from local AD. Pick it up today. It's stunning. I had to part away with two of my favorite watches to keep this one, but it's worth it. my hand looks terrible, need some hand cream. LOL
Please, help me decide...
Hello Fellow Rolex-ers,A brief background first. Always intrigued by the Datejust since I was a young boy, I'm presently 50. Always had one day dreamed of owning the Datejust. Specifically, a SS fluted bezel with Jubilee because I feel its such a classic timepiece and it was the one I had the pleasure of falling in love with as a youth. (actually it was a gold DJ.) A very very thankful moment in my present life having met a wonderful women and her incredible family. Lo and behold; her dad owns a DJ and I have admired it many times. Sharing with him, how and when I was intrigued by the DJ. Eventually, her dad graciously gifted the DJ to me one saturday evening. (you can search for the thread sharing that moment). Here is where I'm needing some direction....Having always wanted a SS DJ with jubilee and fluted bezel, I'm still leaning toward this purchase despite now having the incredible pleasure of owning or my now custodianship gifted DJ. Some DJ I'm considering are the 1162
