Bell & Ross Launches Vintage Collection
Bell & Ross is launching a new collection with two lines: Vintage Original and Vintage Heritage. The collection is an homage to 1940s aviator watches. Legibility is excellent, and the watches have the trademark Bell & Ross look. The collection includes a time and date model (BR 123) and a chronograph (BR 126). Both watches have 41mm round stainless-steel cases. The BR 123 time and date model puts the small seconds and date at 6. The BR 126 chronograph has central seconds, a 60 second counter at 3 and a 30 minute totalizer at 9. The round date opening is at 4:30. Both watches have domed anti-reflective crystals, 100 meter water resistance, and luminescent hands, numbers and indexes. BR 123 is powered by an ETA 2895, while the chronograph uses an ETA 2894.The Original and Heritage lines are differentiated by aesthetic treatments. The Original line is available with black or beige dials and uses natural stainless steel color cases and white hands, while the Heritage line has black

PAM00512 or some other Panerai?
Hi All,I recently started a thread (in this and the Rolex forum) asking for opinions on whether I should buy a PAM00512 or another Rolex (the 16613 Bluesy). Got great responses, and after reviewing the comments and trying on the Bluesy and realizing it is not for me, I ruled it out, and decided that I want to go with a Panerai.I really like the PAM00512 (have tried in on twice), but before I pull the trigger I would like your views on whether there are other Panerais I should be considering (I am a relative newbie to the Panerai world). To help out, here is what I like about the 512:1. The case size. I have relativey small wrists, and like the idea of 42mm, and that it fits nicely under a cuff. 2. Manual Wind. This will not be a watch I wear every day, and so I see no advantage in having it be an automatic.3. The clear case back. I don't have one, and think that its a neat thing to have on a manual watch.4. The overal look, and that fact that I think it will look great with b
your opinion on rolex submariner 16610
Hi everybody, I'm Nicola from Roma. I hope to be in the right place. I'd like to have your precious opinions on my next purchase. I'm about to buy this sub 16610, year 2006. What do you think about it? Something wrong? I'm asking you because the price is really appealing. I hope the pics are ok. Thanks e lot.
VERSUS: Submariner 1680 v. 16610
Had a random thought today to periodically start posting a VERSUS picture to compare two watches (and only those two watches) and discuss pros/cons by outlining the differences and getting folks' ideas/thoughts/opinions here. We got folks here who are experts that have been collecting and studying these things for decades to those who are just starting to venture into the crazy world of Rolex (and everyone in between). So I think it would be fun and educational! So to kick it off, I have for everyone today the iconic Submariner in the 'with date' variety.
