Omega family Portrait
At last.... The final Picture of the Omega 2011 family altogther. This proved to be the must difficult photo to get all the watches looking right in at the same time. I Hope you enjoyed the series and I'm very sorry if I have bored some people with them.
incomming! heaps of pics!
thought id contribute to this forum more Finally found an engagement \ wedding watch, and my Fiance bought me this on the weekendso i finally pulled the trigger after visiting some AD's and dropping into WOS and trying on some watches to see what they look like on my wrist.im a big fan of lots of pics in posts of new arrivals, so on with the pics!well we now know its an Omega, but what one?a planet ocean cloth... could it be a PO?do PO's come with wooden boxes?open it up and what do you see?its a Deville Hour Vision on braceleti wasnt a fan of the pics, until i tried this on in real life and it changed my mindchange of lightingmy camera found it hard to focus on the side sapphireOmega's 8500 movementcrownlove the applied markersAR coatingcloseup of the silicon balance wheelhope you enjoyed and good to finally show some real life pics of the deville
please share your top 3 most beautiful Patek watches ever made
On Ken's last post I replied that the 5970 is imo one of the most beautiful watches Patek ever made.So it made me curious , I wanted to know other people's TOP 3 listSo please think about it, more than once and to give you a hint don't just name the 3 most complicated you know. The most beautiful is imo seldom the most complicated. I had the sky moon tourbillon a few hours in my hands and I appreciated the technical work of art but I will never say it was a beauty. Nor am I a fan of repeaters or tourbillons. From a purely esthetic view a simple repeater looks like simple Calatrava. And a Calatrava is a nice watch but imo not for the TOP 3 ever :-)And those super complications with multiple functions are imo most of the time too busy.As you see, my choice does not have vintage pieces. The reason is simple. For me they are way too small. Yes I like a 1518 and yes I like a 3970 but a 35 or 36 mm watch is just not for me. And yes I like some vintage chrono's like a 530 but once again
305 has arrived!!!!
Here she is guys!So happy I made this decision! Picked it up BNIB, latest P series.47mm 1950 case in all titanium, sapphire crystal front and back, 3 day in house movement....The watch feels just perfect on the wrist. My wife's words - that watch is so....you! So here's a few quick shots. I'll post some better one's when I have some more time. Had to share my excitement.
Advice / opinions sought - Trade or keep??
Incoming TT GMT and black Skydweller SS (I have waited and waited.....)Currently have DSSD and a couple of other pieces.I am comfortable wearing, but it is huge and heavy and it needs to be tight and thus would be the only one I could let go.Trade is a definite option - condition is mint - but I'm torn as worried will miss it as soon as deal is done!!! Yes, could always wait and buy again. I've not flipped any rolexes before.....Having read threads daily on this forum, I know there are wise individuals out there.....what would you do?
