Should I buy
Looking at a roo rubberclad Found one I like but not able to go see it in person due to distanceComes with box and papers it is listed as fine condition but have spoken to seller who stars it's in excellent conditionLooks great on pictures and price is good and comes with 12 months warrantyWhat do you guys think as I have usually bought in a shop and tried on first
Breitling A14360 Chrono-matic Certifie Chronometre
I got this three-register/date/automatic from the secondary market and I love the watch. It's very accurate, HOWEVER it is a b*tch to start. What I mean is that the crown does not seem to wind the watch or add tension to the spring in any way. To get it going, I have to gently agitate the auto-rotor for about 3-4 minutes to get some kind of tension on the main, then it runs great for as long as I care to wear it. Please, do NOT tell me to get an auto-winder, I sold mine, that is NOT happening. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this trait with this particular model. I am loathe to take it for service because it keeps such excellent time, has only this one quirk.
Vintage SM 300 prices
Im totally out of touch with the cost of this hobby but yesterday I glide into Jaceks site for a little browse around and saw a very nice SM 300 and was shocked at the 17K + price tag. My own SM 300 is not in the same league as Jaceks but anyone care to enlighten me about todays price levels?
Patek Supercomplication
Cool video explaining all the complications of the watch. It's going under the hammer in November:.sothebys/en/news-vide...ch-ge1404.html
New Models Accuracy
Perhaps I overlooked it but within the descriptions of the new models presented today I see no specific mention of -2/+2????
