Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 Watch In Everose Gold With Black Ceramic Bezel For 2015
New for 2015, Rolex has debuted a very attractive and sporty new version of the Rolex Yacht-Master that now comes on a new type of strap called Rolex Oysterflex. More on that in a second. This reference 116655 Yacht-Master is 40mm wide but there will also be the 37mm wide ref. 268655 Yacht-Master. Unlike the traditional Yacht-Master that has been known for platinum bezels this new 2015 Yacht-Master model will come equipped with a black Cerachrom (ceramic) bezel. We really love this new black and gold theme for the Yacht-Master that is both luxurious but not blingy. The Rolex Yacht-Master 116655 contains the in-house made caliber 3135 automatic movement while the smaller 268655 contains the 2236 automatic movement. Both are more or less functionally the same being three-hand movements with the date. What is very nice about the new Cerachrom bezel is Rolex's ability to craft it with the markers in relief - which is a new process that we are interested in hearing about. This adds a new cha
Orient M-Force Beast Review
With the exception of their $2,500 Pro Saturation model, the M-Force Beast is Orient's most serious dive watch option, boasting a more sophisticated in house movement than the one found in their very popular Mako and Ray models, as well as ISO 6425 divers watch certification, for what it’s worth. In short, the M-Force Beast is designed to be Orient's version of the diver's dive watch. Now we're not not divers here at worn&wound, so we can't speak to how it performs in the water, but having spent some time with the M-Force Beast, we're prepared to see if it lives up to its roughly $550 price tag.Case: Stainless Steel (brushed and polished)Movement: ORIENT caliber 40N5A movementDial: BlackLume: YesLens: SapphireStrap: Stainless Steel braceletWater Res.: 200mDimensions: 47 x 53mmThickness: 14mmLug Width: 24 mmCrown: screw down – 8mm x 5mmWeight: approx. 220 gramsWarranty: 1 yearPrice: $795 ($550 with Orient Watch USA online discount – use code “wornandwoundR
nebie question on PP annual calendar watch.
On a PP annual calendar watch do you have to set the date every year or every 4 years. That is the watch will go from feb 28 to March 1 (normal years) so no adjustment have to be made on normal years. Have to make a adjustment on leap years (every 4 years)or..the watch goes from feb 28 to 29 then March 1 so you have to advance the watch a day every year except for leap years. p.s. my bulova watches need only to correct the date every fours years (on leap years)
The Patek Philippe Nautilus Chrono
The Nautilus is a watch which I will buy one day. Years ago I tried the Aquanaut, I liked it but it didn't take long before I got tired of it, so I sold it. The Nautilus on the other hand ... The 5711 is nice but nut for me, a bit too simple Than we have the 5712. I like it a lot more than the 5711. The extra complications are welcome. But I'm affraid I would not like the size. It's imo too flat. A Nautilus is still a sportswatch and for me a sportswatch needs to be bigger, thicker and heavier than a dresswatch. That leaves the 5980. A friend of mine has one and I'm wearing it for a few weeks. It has everything I want from a Patek. An extremely well finished case, bracelet, movement (this is ofcourse also a fact for the 5711 and 5712). When I put it on my wrist it just feels great. Much better than any 5711, 5712 and 3712 I ever tried. I don't have a small wrist so the bigger Nautilus is superb for me. The only bad thing I can think about is the price. Compared with other fantastic spo
